Why Méribel Centre

Méribel Centre sits at around 1,450 metres in the geographic heart of Les 3 Vallées, with lifts running to both the Courchevel and Val Thorens sides. Strict building rules mean the whole valley is built in wood and stone chalet style, which gives Méribel a warmer, more traditional feel than the higher purpose-built resorts.

Getting there

We drive to Méribel Centre from Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Grenoble airports — see the table above for approximate times and prices. The route climbs from Moûtiers up the Méribel valley road. Chambéry is the shortest run of the four airports, which is worth knowing if you have a choice of flights.

Good to know

Méribel stretches over several levels — Méribel Village, Méribel Centre and Mottaret — and they are further apart than the map suggests. Give us the exact chalet or hotel name when you book so we drop you at the right one. Ski bags and child seats are no problem, just tell us the numbers in advance.
